Black Diamond Landscapes, Inc. was established in 2002 by Joseph A.
Cusce Jr. The company found its start as a part-time job for Joseph
when he was in high school by mowing lawns and completing small maintenance
projects for his neighbors and friends in his hometown of Arlington,
MA. Throughout high school and college, the business grew from
just a few lawns a week to several dozen. Joseph would return home
to Arlington from college on the weekends and work full-time during the
summers to keep the business growing. It was when Joseph graduated
from Plymouth State University in May of 2002 that he decided to develop
what used to be just an odd job and turn it into vital business.
Throughout the years, Black Diamond Landscapes has evolved through hard
work and experience from a mowing and lawn maintenance service, into
a company that provides a full spectrum of services for the residential
and commercial customer.
Black Diamond Landscapes would not be possible without the support and
knowledge of Joseph's friends and family. Guy, Bob, and Paul of
Lalicata, Inc. in Arlington and Eric Skinner of Trimmers Landscaping
Inc. of Southern NH have had a great influence as mentors in the field. Joseph's
father and family have also played a huge role in the development of
Black Diamond Landscapes, Inc. from landscape related experience, to
guidance with pivotal business decisions.
Black Diamond Landscapes has been very fortunate to continue to grow
and develop into a leader in the landscaping field, and providing a complete
array of services to its customers. Commitment to providing the highest
quality service is what allows Black Diamond Landscapes, Inc. to stand
apart from others as a leader in the field.
The name "Black Diamond" relates to Joseph's passion for skiing
in which he coached and competed throughout college. The Black
Diamond refers to "Experts Only" a description synonymous with
the company's philosophy of the highest quality service. Black
Diamond Landscapes is "Experts Only."
